We have been thinking about getting new wastegates for hondas with less than optimal hood clearances with a cast manifold on the typical Tial 38mm wg. Most of us have experience it hit the hood and in some cases with electronic boost controllers, put a nice hole in the hood.
The new redesigned for 2008, turbo smart ultra gates will hopefully address this problem where tials just left a hole. We just ordered a couple in to try first. We have a red one and a black one in stock @ the moment. Also, if there is any interest, we are direct with them, so we can get the e-boost controllers also along with their entire product line.

EDIT. New pictures comparing the height of a turbosmart WG compared to the tial. Notice the tial in an EG chassis with drag manifold hit the hood in the 4th picture and was already rubbing.
Prices on the WG is 279 retail. We will be offering these 38mm ultra gates @ a one time introductory price of 250 These come with the 7 psi WG spring.
Yes, it costs a little more than a tial, but I'd pay the difference to not have that hole in my hood :)
