Heya KC, just getting the word out with this post.
Yesterday afternoon (8-26) I was in a wreck while on my bike and need a few parts to go ahead and do my cafe project. The frame I'm working with is a 1982 yamaha virago xv750. (shaft drive, :thumbsdown:)
Here's what I need:
Front End - Any ninja 95+ with bottom bearing. Preferably with wheel/tire/brakes + master cylinder/bars/and forward controls. If you have any of these parts post it up or pm, I'm interested.
Tank - Seca! Call it ugly, I love the things. This will be a tough one to find in city but it's worth a shot, post it up or pm.
Pegs, shifter, rear brake lever - Basically anything I can bolt on, this bike will be a rat anyway, post it up or pm.
Seat I'd like a custom seat but if you have anything laying around (metric only, my ass isn't that fat) post it up or pm.
Rear lights and plate mount - Simple LED tail/turns will be fine with me, all-in-one is awesome as well. As far as a plate mount goes I can probably just weld one up but I'd like it to swing out from the side like the forty-eights. If you've got anything cheap post it up or pm.
Exhaust - Just looking for a 2-to-1 that fits, I'll go straight to the ground with it if I can. Post it up or pm.
Wheels - I plan to go 120 front + rear, 17". Short and mean look is what I'm going for. Show me what you've got, post or pm.
Kickstand - Just because I want one that's not rusty and falling off. Something from a sport bike works just fine as long as I can bolt it on, I hate how upright the thing sits on the stock stand.
That's all for now, feel free to post EVERYTHING even if it's total junk. I'll probably be interested.
By the way, 4 stitches above my eye and a stinger in my left shoulder were the only injuries. No helmet, like a douche. Also, minivans taste like shit on the back, don't try it.
