Ok guys, I'm stumped on this one...
The car is a 91 Eclipse GSX Auto. It's running Megasquirt II as a complete standalone. Stock Trans controller is in place, as with all of it's wiring. I'm also running an itty-bitty-battery due to lack of space.
I put a (?) by "Electrical" in the thread title because I'm not so sure it's even an electircal issue... Here's why...
On colder mornings, when the car has sat for over say 5-6 hours, If I go to start the car, It cranks over like it's either got a dead battery, or it can't overcome the compression of the motor.
If I release the starter even after just two or three rotations of the starter, and hit it again, It'll crank as if everythign is peachy, and it's happy.
I've tried a different starter with the same results.
I just can't figure out what changes electrically or mechanically between the first start attempt and the second that would cause this...
