My car (93 EG with B18b, hydro transmission) has pretty bad wheel hop in 1st and 2nd gear. Im using my stock mounts with the swap. Are there other causes for this besides old worn out mounts? or bad driver :lol2:
I was looking at buying a new set of mounts. I was looking at Avid racing mounts or Innovative mounts. Could you guys get these and what is your price? Or is there something else you recommend.
By the way how did the testing with the hatch go at KCIR?

Most aftermarket engine mounts will make your car rattle pretty badly. If you are looking for a cost effective way of getting the engine to shake less. We offer the energy suspension motor mount insert kit. 45 bucks and it makes 3 mounts "solid" doesn't shake as bad as hasport or any of the alum/steel aftermarket mounts do.
Also, we broke our cool race transmission @ the track :( 1st pass out the car went 11.3 @ 140 mph bogging BAD out of the hole.

Cost effective sounds good. The wheel hop is so bad screws fall out of the dash, I've lost 4 so far :lol2: Thanks for the advice. Can you go ahead and order those for me? How much is installation if you guys do that?
Sorry about the car, that sucks  . That car seems to break any transmission you throw at it. It might be cursed. On the bright side the hatch looked clean and the turbo looked massive and was twice the size of my head.
Random question whats the tint % on that car? My girlfriend told me i need to tint my windows like the hatch. You guys were making me look bad :lol2:

I've got the innovative reds in my, it shakes like crazy, on cold cold morning it'll make my CD player skip it shakes so bad. Do the inserts if you are mostly stock, I got use to it, but Celeste doesn't ride with me anymore. You might look at traction bars to help with the hop. I know Revline has/can get some sweet traction bars,

doubt it, sounds like you need traction bars, the inserts will help with motor moving, but to get the EG to hook, you need traction bars, like the ETD ones Choung has for sale

No, just get the motor mount inserts. And I think it's 20% on the hatch. I will ask the owner later today.

The motor is completely stock, not even an intake or anything. Im not making crazy power so i think just the inserts should take care of most of it. I'll get those put on, see how much my car improves and then go from there.
