Someone brought this to my attention there is a kit around on the interwebz that allows people to put a Banshee engine in ninja 250 frame. Has anyone heard of this? It gave me an idea to try and retrofit one of these engines into a 2008-up Ninja 250r. I mean 60-70 HP in a bike that weighs around 300 lbs sounds like a good setup. Anyone seen any engine swaps on the newer ninja 250's.

just buy... a 600? Get 100hp in a 350lb bike. Oh, and 2 front brakes.

It jus seems pointless to me, in all honesty, that chassis is developed to be suited for not much more than it provides. Every 250r i've ridden has left me wanting more brake with the miniscule amount of power it had to begin with.

It is a 2 stroke thing. I thought the newer ninja's came with better suspension and dual disc brakes. If not then I will just keep my good ole trusty RZ. I was thinking it would be a lighter bike than mine with more up to date suspension/frame.
