Got the clutch bolted up to the motor. Triple-disc carbon Exedy w/ heavy duty pressure plate (200#'s of extra clamping force).

Next the tranny was mounted and scatter shield installed, damn shield is a PIA and I don't suggest doing it with the motor and trans in the car.

Here it is sitting in the car pretty much done and ready to go to Tim @ V&P for some fab work. Wiring harness is routed. Turbo and manifold are mounted. Intake manifold, T/B, and throttle cable are installed. Transfercase and driveshaft installed. Only items left are the axles, varous pulleys/belt, front motor mount, and plumbing the oil/water/boost lines.

The valve cover is for mock up as the other is being powder coated at the moment.

Tim is moving along nicely, intercooler piping and exhaust are done. Decided to get a Wiggins Clamp for the T/B as the Vbands were too big to fit with the IAC and TPS sensors plus the Wiggins is baller. :headbang:

I know from experience the stock fan housings are sharp as fuck if you hit them at the wrong angle trying to turn a wrench in there. I still have a nice little scar from when I put on my uicp.

Yea digging the topmount myself, more difficult for plumbing but not that big of a deal.

Clearance on the radiator wasn't that big of a deal with the AMS 35r kit I had as the downpipe was on the opposite side by the A/C compressor, this downpipe comes close to the radiator so we will have to wait to start tuning to see how the cooling is affected. Yes the stock fan shroud is a bitch to work around, my hands are feeling it from the other black evo that was here this weekend. :lol2:

I went with Jun 272's over the HKS 280's as the Jun's are a much more aggessive cam and will work better for the combo i'm using.

You can't take the duration numbers as the holy grail when comparing cams from different companies. :thumbsup:

During the build I switched. A guy needed the 67 bad enough at the time so I made the switch. Don't have a divided t4 .85 a/r housing here, that sounds like a gt series specific housing correct?

Running aem's 4 channel egt controller and K type thermocouples. They all can be logged via 9 pin serial port on your laptop or each one has a 5 volt analog output that can be logged via a standalone ems

But that is like telling someone with a stock supra to line up with wingless tony, my bet is that the pour stock guy isant going to do to well. But if that is what he wants then Im game for both. :wave:

i'm sure your evo is fast, but don't talk trash on someones car that you haven't even raced or beat. as far as i know your car broke at ifo. and if your calling out my crx to run your evo at the track, you name the grudge night or when it goes to sundays let me know when you want to line them up, i'll run you with no more than 15 psi of boost. we can discuss the wager on the day of. mind you i have the ability to run mid to low 10's on the boost level. and for my buddy matt i'd put money on him if you decide to run him as well.
i thought it would be a good starting point for me to see how much of a difference your car would have over mine, for being stock and also gives me an idea how much i'm going to have to spend to get my evo fairly quick. but soon, very soon you will have your chance to race chad. no excuses when you loose.

i dont get mad, i like my car cause its of an all-around car, i can go to the track cut 1.70 on street tires, go to an autocross run quicker then most on R-compounds, drive in the snow with my summer only tires, that people say are bald :lol2: been on both oval tracks at I-70 speedway and gets me to work at 21 mpg :thumbsup: seats 5 nicely, 6 sometimes

Spun it past that, and plan to do more at the track too.

I'll be testing a .96 a/r housing soon, more than likely install a back pressure sensor too for testing.

Also a bigger intake manifold from AMS will be here after it's tested by ETS against many others using a 35r kit and 45r kit. Flanged for a Q45 t/b (90mm), dual fuel rail setup, and the Plenum is bigger/Runners shorter & fatter for big turbo setups.
