ok so im haveing a issue with my rear suspension on my bike.for some odd reason when i hit it hard from 2nd to 3rd its pulls sideways really hard i doubt it has that much torque:confused: since its a 600.i was out looking at the bike and noticed the spring is adjusted as stiff as it can possibly go..
my tires are fairly new on the rear.. so my question is should i maybe soften the dampning on the rear or what are the other fixes??? its really scary when trying to launch the bike i know the bike isnt stock has jet kit in the carbs and motor has been tuned.geared.. guy used to drag race the bike....if anyone could help out with any input would be appreciated.

How's your chain? Worn out, loose? Sprockets? Missing teeth?

Check all your linkage bolts too. Make sure they are tight

You took them apart? Or you're assuming they are untouched?

ive had stretched and lowered bikes in the past and ive had to push the forks throught the triple tree but these arent pushed through.

You can lower them internally.

im most likely just going to take it to steve at smithers and have him diagnose my entire suspension to see what parts need replacing.its fine on city roads its decently smooth.soon as i hop on freeway its a whole different story it rides pretty rough

someone trying to help you here used to work at Smithers. You should post pictures, as requested. He can't really help you without seeing anything at all.

I would check and see I'd your axel is square in the arm or see if your sprocket is actually round. I've run into both lately.

axle and swingarm appear to be even i thought that could have been my issue at first to cause sometimes people adust the axle more one side than the other causing the bike to wobble..sprocket has maybe 1000 miles on it at most.its a vortec aluminum.

Yes take it to Steve Smithers @ Smithers. Someone was probably adjusting your suspension that had no clue what they were doing. I see happen a lot.

Yup, sounds like someone owned that bike and no idea what they were doing with it.
