Thought about throwing this in the "nature" forum, but that seems to be mainly pet talk so I wasn't sure. Figured this would be the next best spot.

Swinging through KC (Overland Park area) this weekend. Looking for a quiet place to go, kick back and catch a sunset. Lake, park, rooftop, doesn't matter. Just something that isn't too busy or noisy and has a great view. (Helps if it's open around 8:30pm lol)

The bridge over I70 on Stadium Drive is a great place to catch a perfect sunset/downtown KC skyline. You gotta catch it in the right season to line up the 2 just right, and unfortunately, I can't remember when they line up. Still fairly nice any time of year, though.

Edit: sorry, both busy and noisy, plus, not Overland Park.

Not too worried if I have to drive a little ways. I'm making a 3hr trek in the first place, what's another 30 min lol

But yeah, less traffic/noise would be better although I may check that place out for myself.

Not the best, by far, but it sits pretty high up, and you get the sports complex in the other direction.

Case Park downtown at 7th & Pennsylvania would be a good place.
