I'm playing WAR and it's pretty sweet. So far I've ran into a few things I liked better in WoW but for the most part the game is awesome. I think I like it better too because it can be played in a lot more casual manner, I don't need to raid for hours on end or anything like that just log in, kill some guys, reap whatever benefits come from that and move on.

That said, I do miss playing WoW and have thought about picking it up again with the expansion.

I'll put it to you this way, I hit 10 in 28 minutes, I hit 15-20 in 2 runs of RFC. 2 Levels per run so far in WC as well, also 3 quests from WC gave 1 level full xp.

BS is a pain to level. To get to 300 it was taking over 40 thorium bars a skillup. To get to 375 was costing me 150g or more a skillup

i have vista x64 and play in both windowed and regular and have had 0 problems. Try upgrading the vid card.

Nah I had to go and manually give full control permissions to "everyone" and "system" group before patches would take on vista. By default "Everyone" only had read permissions to the wow folder. I ended up having to uninstall and reinstall WoW last night. After 3gbs worth of patches downloaded and installed i tried to run WoW and it just error'd out with "Corrupt File: System_.dbf". Dunno I'll get it working after work today. Who's on what server (or is there like a KCSR guild on a server with a bunch of toons or something? If there isnt there should be)

well shit the other two are in pvp gear right now cause we are breaking from raiding til patch.

our guild is the result of 3 guilds breaking up. ours "Stack and Die" was number 1 at the time, and the other two guilds were number 3 and 4 on the server.
Makes it a little easier. And we clear BT every week in less then 5 hours. They used to be rare, not anymore. There are probably like 20 pairs running around on our server.

I've been playing off and on since beta. Sold many of my accounts (I've had three) and everytime I sell one off and quit, someone from my wow past comes back, offers me an account to level up and raid with them on. It's safe to say there is no one on this planet better at leveling to 70 than I, so much so that I've written a few guides for a few well known sites in which I am not credited, nor did I want to be.

To me, the downfall of WoW is the fact that now that you can transfer your character for 15 bucks, there is no real allegiance left in this game. Back when I started raiding many years ago, when Ony was end game and MC was serious business, you had to live by your reputation, or re-roll. Furthermore, guild hopping wasn't nearly as bad back in those days, and most people would rather re-roll than join another guild. This is why I have so many 70's. This last endeavor, Cairne, was an amazing one, I got to be a significant pillar in the worlds fastest progressing guild, however, it died and with such, a part of my enjoyment for the game. Some of you might have heard about <Reckless>, but I'd wager that if you did hear about it, you heard about the GM ninja transferring on us after we opened the AQ gates and got him the title the same week we were taking shots at Illidan, 2 months and change after that server opened (brand new server, no transfers, yes we started at level 1 with no economy).

However they will probably be opening new servers for wrath, they usually have free transfers to that server... so in theory, it's doable but some of us are in progression guilds...

havnt gotten a chance to do HHM yet cause im only a 66 and the 70s on my serv think you HAVE to be a 70 to do it and they freak out and boot me when i join up...

but ive done most of the other quests and gotten achievements and suchs.

ive mainly just been trying to get to 70 so i can be ready for wrath.

DS as in Daggerspine? Lol thats where i came from, i used to raid with Sacred. Cho'gall is amazing for high end pvp and pve, but its severely overpopulated right now since they opened up like 5 pve servers to transfer here..fucking lame.

I stopped playing about a year ago. It was just taking up so much time. I had to devote like 4 hours a night, 3 nights a week to raid for decent gear. God that got old.

i tried blood spec for like, one night. didn't care for it. i have gear to go DW but i am still just kinda riding this one out for the time being. i need a KT axe bad. in 25 man naxx it is generally in the 4800-5200 range on trash aoe shit and on patch it's @ 5300, popping garg right at the beginning and then garg and AotD @ BL. on an average 5 man with no pally buffs it usually ends up being @ 3600 overall for a whole 5 man.

just some advice from someone that has done both 25man and 10man 3D. 10man is much much harder than 25man. granted your guild is competent. we did 25man dec 12th. took us an addtl 2 weeks to get 10man. good luck with it tho. its nice to run around with the title.

See, we lack the 25 competent players to do 25 3D. We 1 shotted 25 1D, and ALMOST got 25 2D, but people are fuck tards.

Now our 10man group however, is EXTREMELY competent, and well geared. We 1 shotted 10 1D, we are skipping 10 2D and trying 3D.

The top guild on our server just got 10 3D down, so my friend has been giving me pretty explicit tips.

The only thing is. We are going to 3 tank it, will we have enough DPS 3 tanking it?

my math was wrong, it'll be 125ap, but all of your abilities and pets scale from your strength. that sucks it hasn't dropped, both ruthlessness and circle of death drop like clockwork every run for us. the maly boots dropped last night and i lost :(
