Do not post meeting spot locations!

Although the concept is common sense for most of you, some people continue to publicly post details about where people meet to race. I have even seen people post complete lists of many of the best / most popular places that have not yet been busted. Not a smart move! Please do NOT post anything publicly in these forums about where to meet for races.

A couple of very good reasons for NOT posting these locations:

1. KCSR.org should not be implicated in anything illegal and "organized".

2. You will eventually cause somebody to get busted.

yeah actually KCPLC is more accurate in my opinion also, because 1 there aren't many good places to meet AND race around KC and 2 half the time nobody races anyways :thumbsdown:

I used to have a contact (friend of a friend), but they stopped racing once they went off to school. :roll:

just get to know some of the people on here, or check out some of the better known/public spots like Front St or Noland Rd and you will find out where some of the other spots are.

I think the cops pretty much know where the meeting places are and the favorite racing spots. And believe it or not there was one time the cops were even watching but did nothing!!!!!

This happened a couple of summers ago. Dont know if I should mention the road so I wont. Somwhere in Johnson county lets say. Me and my buds were just driving around in our rods and we met up with some other "street racers" and they challenged us. So we went to the lacation they told us to go and we raced them.

My friend Wayne "Blue Thunder," raced first and when they went passed the "finish line" he saw a police car sitting off to the side of the road. He and the other guy thought they were busted but the cop just sat there.

So they came back and told us but the cop didnt follow. So we decided to take a risk and raced again. And again the cop did nothing.

So after we were all done racing. We left. The cop then pulls out and follows all of us for a little ways then turns onto the interstate.

I know it sounds strange, and if you dont believe me thats fine. But I have heard of cops watching the races and doing nothing quite a few times. Now why they would do that is beyond me.

But I cant tell you the number of times I know I was busted going 10 to 20 miles over the limit and the cop would just look at me and not pull me over.

for the longest time, we never really got bothered at certain locations. sure, cops would come by, but nothing happened a lot of the time. when people started leaving trash around, and doing burnouts in parking lots....or being UBER stupid and taking it to places it didn't belong, they started cracking down.

my fav was still in Lenexa. we were sitting in the parking lot of an envelope factory that one of our guys worked at, and two guys were lined up ready to race. here comes the camero cop car and a blazer cop car.. that ended our night quickly!

Long time no talk, I havent been out in like over a year. Surprised to see you selling the Durango, I assume the stang must be running pretty good now. The Kia is running real good now, been out trying to find out where the action (if there is any nowadays) is and when and where to meet up.
