2006 GTO

P1SC ProCharger
6psi of boost
55lb Injectors
BAP
Kooks Headers
Magnaflow Catback

91 Octane, no meth
Tuned in House at HOB

Well, this is starting to become a theme here at the HOB, that if you own a GTO it must make nearly 600hp to the tires.

This car was used to base line our new "HOB ProCharger Stage 1 Cam"

If you have a LS2 and a ProCharger and are looking for the flat out most streetable cam, with some of the largest gains this is what you get. Picking up almost 100hp with just the cam swap, and 85ft lbs of TQ. Without changing the boost level at all!

And when I say "baby cam" I mean it, duration at 50 is only 219/228
Idles nice at 750rpm with just a little chop to it, other then that you could slide this cam in with no change in your tuning other then adding some fuel up top. (If you MAF doesn't already take care of that for you)

Blue = Stock with Headers/Magnaflow
Green = Same as Blue with P1SC at 6psi
Red = Same as Green, with HOB ProCharger Stage 1 Cam @6psi

Pretty common on a LS1 to pick up that with a cam.

But to do it with such a small cam, that basically has no change in "attitude" or tune is what really surprised me. I had an idea I wanted to try based on some of the other cams I had been spec'n for our other builds. And it turned out to work out great.

Yup, the current 91 octane here is pretty lacking compaired to years ago. But its nice to be able to tune for the worse case.

We have a couple vettes in the shop currently, nothing to major just average blower cars. Though we do plenty of N/A work as well. Just give me a shout at my email erik@houseofboost.com
