Do you run Nitrous?

Do you or have you ever ran nitrous? What are your pros and cons of nitrous?

Yes I've ran nitrous. Used a wet NX 50 shot on my 98 prelude for awhile. Pros: It is cheap and gave me just as much power as a basic turbo lude.
Cons: Nothing when it is used correctly.

I used Nitrous on 3 cars. 55-75 shot each time.

Used ZEX and NOS.

I enjoyed the power boost, and it's awesome to be able to run at two different car levels. Run with slower cars off the bottle, and stronger cars on the bottle.

Cons: I blew up one motor (but all the 1.5 Honda motors blow).

Keeping bottle pressure high, wasn't always easy, I eventually got a bottle heater, and this was made easier, though the heater was a bit ghetto.

Refills are annoying, ran out too quick.

Yes with our system since the flow is the same all the time, it is a lot more tunable thank a stock system, which means you can up the horsepower and still be safe with the right supporting mods. Also, with our system the bottle will last longer because it utilizes the entire bottle.

Yep and I love it. Have to refill the bottles which sucks, but since I have the 15lb nano setup I can go awhile without refilling my bottle. Not having all the power/strees on the car daily helps a lot. :yesnod:

ran 75-100 shot on my spec v for about 8 months. and god only knows how many bottles (Filling up 4 times a week)

When used Properly, and with teh right per cations taken. i.e. Right plugs, gapped right, Spraying above a certin RPM, etc. etc etc. it can be safe, and very fun.

I ran a NX wet kit on my turbo'd miata for a while. Very fun but refills were a pain and start to get pretty expensive ~$40, and it always seemed to run out at a bad time. Also, without a remote bottle opener it never failed that I'd have the bottle closed when I needed it. But overall nitrous is good stuff.
