I was just sending these photos to a couple people via Email, and thought I would share. Project isn't totally done yet, but will be soon. When its completed I will have a full write up of everything that was done, and whom all was involved in the project. But until then.....

We dubbed the project "NasCobra" due to the motor being an Ex-Nascar motor, and the fact that the car will see its share of road course action.

Cliff Notes on the Details:
We are just wrapping this up in the shop. The car is owned by the owner of the water meth company "Snow Performance"
The car will be on display outside of SEMA this year, and is in the final stages. (Lots of paint still to go, and just days left)

357 Cube Yates Motor (Made 749hp on Motor Only)
F2 ProCharger (Soon to stuff 15psi into it)
HOB Accessory Drive System
HOB Drop Rack Conversion
HOB LSx Coil Brackets (Hidden in Fenders)
HOB Hydraulic Clutch Conversion
HOB Crank Trigger System (for 36-1 Wheels on Push-Rod cars)
HOB Cam Trigger System (for when used with BigStuff, Fast, Etc)
Modified Manifold to EFI (Injectors on underside)
HydraBoost Master Cly Conversion (To clear the motor)
Aeromotive Fuel System, 160lb injectors, BigStuff3, bla bla bla
All stuffed into a 1993 Cobra, with a fully smoothed engine bay.

Heck even the ProCharger idler pulley, got machined.
(Took 1.1lbs out of the idler pulley!)

Anyways, those are the cliffs, here are the teaser shots.

Thanks for looking,
Erik

It will be done in like a week..... its the #1 hot priority right now. It wasn't supposed to be at SEMA, then we got the last min. call that it was. So its thrash time.

The wire loom is something Dorian tracked down, we have all sorts of different kinds around the shop, to match whatever is used in cars. However if there is nothing present, and we are starting from scratch, this is the stuff they get.

The tranny is a sequential 4 speed, and wait till you see the inside of the car. No more "h" pattern.

The engine bay could have been even cleaner, if we would have removed the heat and wipers. However since the car is from CO, and the owner would like to drive it to shows on the street. He didn't want to be caught in a little cold snap, or have some mist on the windows he couldn't deal with (or defrost)

When it starts, it will sound like the end of the world.

the mod on the throw out bearing, the hydrallic piece. Wheres this from and can it be modded to fit other cars? My car has huge issues with throw out bearing wear on the PP, seems to be no fix for it other then to keep purchasing new PP's every clutch job. I've seen these on evo's too. Just can't find much info.

Update: 02-09-10

First Dynopull: 901rwhp, on just 91 octane pump gas! @7000rpm.

Blower drive system, and 6 rib drive system are all holding great. Single Fuel rail and undermounted injectors are working great as well, she idles at 900rpm rock steady (which I was amazed with this cam)

With a touch more boost, and putting the timing back in it. (Its low) It will easily make the goals of over 1000+ hp to the wheels.

The sound from the Jerico, is just music music to my ears. HOB built an amazing machine here, I am just lucky that I get to have the honors of tuning it.
