I've been talking with Sam about possibly going with a turbo and ditching the wimpy supercharger. I'm sure you recall the maroon S-10 that you installed Sam's converted MPFI setup on about this time last year.
I have a set of SYTY exhaust manifolds heading my way. It's unconfirmed if they would be a perfect fit or not but I plan to see if I can adapt them to the 4.3 in my '03. If they don't work, I'll try a remote mount. I know you guys are huge fans of that. :lol2:

Should I just contact PTE directly or could you guys offer a recommendation?

I responded. No it's not armed with forged internals yet. I d0 have a cam and a set of heads for it, but I just haven't had the time to get them installed.

I eventually will rebuild and stuff forged parts into it. With the split pin crank tho I am limited on how far I can push it. With a balance shaft motor, the weakness lies in the crank.

I am intending to convert to a 2 bolt main made from billet steel and use ARP studs. I could never achieve stupid numbers like SyTy's but I am very confident I can achieve 300+ with stock internals and closer to 500+ with forged.

I intend to maintain it's daily drivability\streetability so to be in the 300 to 400 range would make me content.

Any other questions just hollar.
