curious question about ls motor

curious about the b18b.. is it worth building a ls/v?? or just buyin a gsr motor...
my motor runs good so i wanna put vtec but i wanna rebuild the bottom end. what will it run me to build a ls bottom end an drillin for vtec?? keep the ls bottom an changing the only the pistons?? an rebuildin the rest.... wit of course a vtec water pump an oil pump...

you dont drill for lsvtec, atleast nothing on the block is drilled... you do however drill and tap the head to seal off an oil port...

All depends on your end goal and what you want to do. If you can provide us with a goal you'd like to hit, we can sit down and discuss the route you could/should take.

Also knowing a budget will help out also.

i wanna build but its gonna be a long time process... i wanna do lsv but i was told it would take thousands but i wanna do it overtime so what would be the steps?? i say overtime cause i gotta lil girl on the way so you kno what that mens.... :attention:

If you want to build something over time, then you need to just buy parts as you have spare money to do so.

Every thread you've created there has given you pointers in where to start and what to do. So do some research from there, find out what kind of $ you'll have to play with and do it.
