I bought this car last fall for a winter ride. It was freaking awesome. Never got stuck, even got called by a few buddies to go dig them out and/or pick them up. I commute about 75 miles round trip and was never late to work or missed a shift. Something reliable with good fuel economy was crucial to me, and makes this a great buy.

When I purchased the car, I knew there were a few things it would need, but none of the issues I've repaired were disclosed to me by the seller. Extremely frustrating, but it is what it is. I have had a lot of maintenance performed while in the past few months. These repairs include:
-New Exedy Clutch
-New Exedy Flywheel
-New water pump
-New Timing Belt
-New Timing Belt Cover
-New Thermostat
-New AC Pulley & Bracket
-New Windshield
-New Fuel Tank
-New Fuel Pump
-Electrical Demons Exorcised (Guage Cluster Lights inoperable, Taillights were on their own manual switch)

The car now runs great, but still needs a few loose ends tied up. It does have a salvage title, as well as some damage to the passenger side rear quarter panel. The car is solid, no rust at all. If I were to keep it, the following items would receive attention:
-Clutch Cable Replaced. Currently, the clutch engagement is very abrupt and requires a new clutch cable for repair. I will include the part required in sale.
-Exhaust. The aftermarket exhaust currently installed is pretty loud, not my cup of tea. I purchased an OEM cat-back unit from a 2.5RS to replace the current exhaust. This will also be included in the sale.
-Seats. The drivers seat outboard bolster is torn. I would replace this seat, which is very simple.

Also included in the sale are a complete set of springs and struts from a 1998 Subaru Legacy GT. I picked these up to complete the winter DD set up. After a lot of research, and asking questions over at dirtyimpreza.com, I learned that this setup results in a 1"-2" gain in ride height. With the increased ground clearance and snow tires, this thing would be unstoppable.

I'm very meticulous about my vehicles, which is evident by the fact that I purchased this to keep my 09 Jetta Wolfsburg parked for the winter. Most of my passengers comment that they would have no problem jumping in and driving this car until it falls apart. With less than 60k on the car, this is a very very long time. The 2.2L and 5-Speed combo is extremely reliable.

I paid $1,600 for the car last fall. Obviously I've spent a huge chunk of change to improve the quality of this car drastically. At $2,250, I'm losing quite a bit of money, but I'm putting together a down payment for a new car for my wife and would like to sell ASAP. Considering the mileage, and now solid mechanical condition, this is a lot of car for the money. I've done my best to represent the vehicle as accurately as possible.

I apologize in advance for the pictures, or lack thereof. They're from the PO's for sale thread. I'll get new pictures up Friday with more detail. In the meantime, if you have any questions, or would like specific pictures, feel free to drop me a line. Email is the most reliable way to get in touch with me; rapprill at gmail.com

Thank you for your time.

"...some damage to the passenger side rear quarter panel." -OP

It's a dent that the PO attempted to touch up, albeit not very well.
