Whats up guys, name is Bob. I have been a lurker on this site for a while now and since I think I may move to the KC area around this time next year I figure I would introduce myself. Here is a few pics of my previous rides, I cant take much credit for the mustang since I bought it the way it is, but I did build the jetta from the ground up. At the moment I dont have a "cool" car since I just got divoced(the mustang had to go becuse of it). But I think once I move I will be back in the game. Anyway on with the pics:

Mustang-fastest time by previous owner went 11.98 at 114...I only owned the car for 2months so I never had a chance to track it.

I'll let the locals chime in about where to live.

Nice looking cars. Welcome to the site, Bob.

Welcome

What area would you like to move to? (where will you be working would be a part of where to go imo)

I am pretty open, at the moment I am unemployed(laid off aircraft) but going to school to be an electrician(apprentice), will be done in december, and the other half is a registered nurse, we have noticed that there are many hospitals so her finding a job shouldn't be a problem. We would really just like to find good schools for the kids(5 and 1.5 year old) and work around that.

Well out south you have the Shawnee Mission School District (www.smsd.org) and up North there is NKC (http://www.nkcsd.k12.mo.us/)

They both have a decent school system and decent area around them

Hi!

On the Missouri side, there is North Kansas City/Gladstone area for the NKC school district. Going a little more north to northeast is Liberty, with the Liberty school district. Both areas have hospitals nearby, so it would be an ideal location for a good school district for the kids and a job for your other half.

blue springs has pretty good school district, small quaint neighborhoods if you move into the right spot, my neighbor is selling their house... lees summit was good for a while until all the ghetto trash started moving in, but i guess if you live on the better side of lees summit it would be great, they also have good schools my wife and i have a son that is about to turn 1 so we looked into the same things-schools-neighborhood and so on, there is also easy access to i-70 and pretty much every other hwy in the area, probably 10 minutes drive to downtown once you get on 70

oh...welcome lol

I don't know much about the Missouri Districts, but any of the Johnson County, KS school districts are good. Blue Valley, Shawnee Mission or Olathe.

x2.

I was in the Olathe school district from kindergarten through my senior year in high school, and all 3 schools were great.

I'd recommend living in Overland Park or Olathe.
