What are the symptoms for you needing to replace rings? Nitrous? Turbo? s/c? Those are the only times when there is ring issues. Or are you replacing it due to oil loss?

I honestly think you will be better off having us order you a "new" H22 from h-motors and drop it in.

Anywho, get back with me and we'll figure something out.

Just get some rods and pistons and double your boost. :yesnod:

yea it was ran on nitrous for a while and now its turbo. My compression is 150-155-80-120. This time last year it was 210-210-210-210 :lol2:

Just curious, how much was it to have iron liners pressed in? I forgot what you had told me. Whats the price compare to building a shortblock and just having you order a new longblock.

If you bring us a bare block, I think it is around 800 total to have the sleeves pressed in (closed deck H22s) along with deck the block to make sure it's straight and bore it to the pistons you need/want.

PS. I highly doubt you just have a ring issue. You most likely cracked a ring land. Stock H22s do NOT like boost.

ok cool. Whats the turn around time usually. I still need to figure out what exactly im ganna do, but if I decide to build I might as well go ahead and drop off my spare block.

Well, do you have pistons ready for them to get the final bore?

It is usually a 2-3 week process. Sometimes it can take a little longer depending on the workload our machine shop is under.

no i dont. Should I worry about buying my pistons/rods first then? I only have the money to do one or the other right now lol

I've got my pistons and rods now. std bore je 9:1's and eagle rods. hopefully i'll be able to bring everything down soon to get done. Could you give me some kind of idea on what kind of price i'll be looking at on sleeving and assembling my block? Thanks
