Ok, I'm going to have to come to you guys for degreeing cams, and now tuning aswell because of my cam choice. Still not sure when I'll get all the parts, but I'll schedule something As soon as I can. This is for an aluminum PI 4.6L Ford.
First, Degreeing cams --
*How assembled do you want the motor when you do this? I'm going to have to remove the intake manifold and front timing cover for sure. Do you want me to leave that off?
*Do you want me to even put the cams in? Or just bring the motor, the springs, and the cams to you? (Logic states this would cost more -- but how much more?)
*Do you need me to get any specific type of cam gear to do this?
Tuning --
*You tune fords with the SCT software, correct? Do you have access to baseline tunes pre-programmed for a full J-mod?
*When you tune, do you just run the car on the dyno to get the engine parameters correct, or do you take the car for a drive afterwards to configure shiftpoints and lockup timing?
Cooling mod --
*Do you guys do the cooling mod on 2v Modulars? If so, where do you get the coolant from when you route it to the rear of the driver's side head? Also, how much would that cost?
Thanks guys,
-Ryan
