ok my friend has a wastegate with a spring that 20 psi or somr thing like that

and when we lower down the boost control if boosts at 9 psi when we boosted it up its still at 9 psi

no air links anywhere



do you know whats wrong

it's really hard to diagnose without seeing the car, you should probably take the car down there and have them look at it. It'll be cheaper than replacing something that might not be wrong and it will be fixed right the first time

Doubt it's a leak if it's steady at 9lbs. Take the top off the waste gate and take out the spring, and just put back together. It should tell you if it is just stuck. I'd buy a new gate. $150 tial.
