I have for sale here a rare 1986 Mitsubishi Starion that runs and drives. These cars are getting harder to come by, and will be a collectors item in the near future im sure. The thing drives great for its age, and the body is in great condition too. I don't really have alot of details about the car, because im selling it for a friend. It is still available. I will have to get back with you on the other questions, as I am selling this car for a friend and don't have that info on hand. I can tell you that the miles are at around 123k.

yea well i would have bought it if you all were honest about the car it is burning coolant leaking coolant in to the oil the MAF doesn't even stay on and it wouldn't go up a hill yea totally honest but ill give you it is clean exterior and would be a good project if you have cash for motor we did find out the LSD works tho

Its gonna have problems. Also your lucky you didn't blow the thing up. He told you not to drive it very far so what do you do? From the sounds of it you took a joy ride all the way around grandview. As for the coolant in the oil, I will vouch that there is none. He tried to explain to this guy that its just gas cuz its running hella rich. The burning coolant is a bad jet valve. Did you really think you were gonna get a perfectly running starion in this condition for $1,500 lol? Anyways nice story bro ; )

dude if you were honest i would have been willing to work with you me and my friend that came out are mechanics we go to school for this and you cant tell me that was fuel it was coolant and we didn't go far really about 4-6 blocks and the thing was hot aka exhaust was getting in to the coolant making it run way hot

how about you list what is wrong with it and i wouldn't have bothered you about all this and maybe if you had an exhaust on the thing besides a manifold turbo and about 3inches of "down pipe" but whatever good luck selling it

1000 is a great price for a shell let alone a runner this clean. If I had the cash id take it as I miss mine a ton.

Worst case scenario it will need a new head which will run you around $300 if you do the work yourself. It also doesn't have exhaust on it right now cuz the existing exhaust was completely rusted out. Probably could use a little suspension work too. Interior is as close to flawless as you'll get for a car this old and the body needs minor work and a fresh coat of paint to be show quality. Like focus said, your still not gonna find a deal like this anywhere else. These things go for $4000-$5000 easy in decent running condition, and that's in "decent" condition. In perfect condition you'll be hard pressed to find one under $8000

Love this car, see it in person all the time, and anyone who bitches about a running, driving Starion in good condition going for ONLY $1000 just needs to suck it up and go elsewhere. Your lucky if you even find a rusted roller for $1000. Even without being stated in the ad, if you expected the car to be PERFECT with a $1000 price tag, you should ease of whatever your on:lolg:

But anyway back to the main point,
