So, today Michigan has officially denied that they fired their Head Coach. Herbstreet was on Mike and Mike talking about it and he says he'd be shocked if that job opened up and Harbaugh didn't take it.

I don't live in some delusional world where you can say one thing, and never retract it or edit it. I could have very well gone and edited that post if that were the case. I don't, however.

I live in a world where I can change my mind or come to a new conclusion based on variables that change.

When I make a post here, it isn't definite and I shouldn't have to preface it as such. Especially in the world of speculation, where things change DAILY.

These posts aren't a collection of definite matters, merely a time line of multiple people inputting their thoughts as of the current moment. That IS the internet. My opinion changed the more I thought about the the Raiders situation with Cable and decided that I was now on the side of Fisher staying put, despite the fact that I do not believe in, or have faith in the current situation there in Tennessee.

You say I can't change my mind. I say I can. I say I did, I say I changed my mind and posted about it well before he tried to "prove me wrong" which became an "issue" nearly 12 hours after I posted that I believed the Titans would choose Fisher over Young. It was my most recent update on the matter, and it took precedence to his posts and the precursor to this thread.

So, no. I wasn't wrong. at 8:49 AM this morning, I said Fisher would stay and Vince would leave, and did not change my stance since.

Was I wrong? Nope. was I right? I guess. I wasn't intending to be Right. In fact, the REAL argument is whether Vince hits Free Agency, which is where I made the INITIAL stance that he wouldn't just get released, and if he did, he'd have teams interested the second he hit availability.

The Problem is. Vince hasn't been let go. Vince CANNOT be let go for over a month from now, so he'll likely get traded for a 3rd rounder and be done with Tennessee for good.

The bigger issue is that people are WAY too obsessed with being right or wrong, to the point where you take all the fun out of threads like the one we were posting in.

Speculation and Mock Drafting about the NFL is a lot of fun. Having people save those speculations and Mock Drafts just to come back at a later time and say "NUH UHHHHHH YOU WERE WRONG" is childish, especially when the accuser doesn't even participate.


Reiterating my final point here. My opinion was not wrong. That old statement pre-revision was wrong, but IIIIIIIII, was not wrong. I stated this morning before any information was let out, that I was backing Fisher, and he's going to stay. This thread was not warranted, but it WAS hilarious.
