::History::
I have always liked cars but my love for the cb7 started when i was like 10 or 11, got a ride to church with a friends mother in a 91 DX sedan and, For some reason, i loved the car. I have gone back and forth between liking Muscle cars and Tuner cars but kept the love for the cb7. So in August of 2010 my Dad offered me his 2002 Blazer Extreme but i said to sell the car, get me a cb7, and keep the extra money. This being my first car and still in school, it will be slow going till i graduate and get a full time job and when i pay back my Dad for the car. Im really happy about buying this car because i saved it from getting scraped, previous owner told me after i bought it he was a day away from calling the junkyard.

Ive always wanted to build my own project car, something that shows who i am and what i like. Also wanted something fairly easy to modify. Chose this platform because i think the cb7 is very good looking, is great on gas for a first car, and isnt pricey on a 17 year-olds insurance. This will definitely not be my last project and my ultimate goal is to have a feature in a magazine and own my own tuning shop one day. I am new to this world and am in the process of learning how to do better work on cars in school. Most of my knowledge is self taught and i appreciate tips and support. Many of you on here have inspired me. Thanks cb7tuner community.

Thats all i gotta say. Enjoy my MR thread.

Look into some SEM trim paint or Mothers back to black to restore those side moldings back to a nice "new" look. I do believe you can use the Back to Black on the mudflaps as well.

As for your horn, I'm sure you can do like Civic and Integra guys do and just use a shoehorn from a 88-91 Civic/CRX or possibly the horn/cruise ring from a 90-93 Integra so you can use that other wheel.

Im thinking about it. I have a grey/black DX interior i can get from a friend but id have to swap for his doors too because of the crank windows (his old cb was totaled) Im thinking about doing this because i need a new drivers door anyway because its rusted too bad on the inside. But i kinda want power locks and windows but i also want my car too be light as possible. Ill see what happens.

unless your doors are rotted beyond repair, you can swap all the manual window stuff to your doors and still have everything functioning..

well its in. took alot of work and help from my father but i think it turned out great except for the steering wheel still rubs on the column.

First off this is what i used to make the connectors for the harness. Same kind of plugs that are in the male end of the airbag harness
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/ae223/acefighter028/Accord/Accord%202/100_0800.jpg
just got a bridge rectifier and cut it apart to get the plugs then soldered wire to them.

http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/ae223/acefighter028/Accord/Accord%202/100_0805.jpg
Notice the airbag light is off :D Just needed a 2 ohm resistor to trick the srs system. Didnt have a 2 ohm so we just took two 4 ohm resistors and hooked them up in a parallel circuit.
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/ae223/acefighter028/Accord/Accord%202/100_0806.jpg
Finished product :bouncy:

i have done quite a bit since may. I got a job working for Honda to.

Im tired and dont really want to explain it all so here are some pictures
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/ae223/acefighter028/Accord/Accord%202/100_0975.jpg
I peeled off the plastic crap Honda had around the battery tie down bar then i sanded and grinded down all the corrosion and rust.
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/ae223/acefighter028/Accord/Accord%202/100_0976-1.jpg
Then i got some matte black paint and sprayed the bar, bolts and even the wingnuts for coolness :p
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/ae223/acefighter028/Accord/Accord%202/100_0981-1.jpg
Then I installed it
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/ae223/acefighter028/Accord/Accord%202/100_0982-1.jpg
Looks much better now. Those little details, i think, make your car what it is.

Here are a couple pics from the shop.

Rain pic
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/ae223/acefighter028/Accord/Accord%202/100_0995-1.jpg
***and my ricer pedals came in. There is a good reason they arent installed and that reason is because the gas pedal dont fit so i have to customize a bit.
http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/ae223/acefighter028/Accord/Accord%202/100_0998-1.jpg
Also added some Lucas Oil stabilizer. Im not a big fan of additives but it seems to work well stopping the oil burning and smoking.

Got my car alligned Saturday at Honda when we werent busy. All we could really adjust was the front toe angle because all the other bolts were seized and we were afraid we were going to bust them. Means im going to have fun when it comes time to modify my suspension.

This make me miss my 1992 Honda Accord Wagon. It had a little cancer as well, but man I miss it because it hauled so much stuff.
