Fan control relay wiring

I am using an electric fan in my car and while wiring up everything the green wire, according to the manual is either to the ac clutch or a manual override switch. The switch would go to a 12v key activated circuit right?

painless has a wiring set up for like 20 bucks with a relay i believe

I have the relay from Hayden, who is also the maker of my fan. Was just curious about the manual override switch

depends on how you want- the ac clutch will bring it in when ever you turn on the ac, but if you run it to a constant hot switch, then you can manually keep it running for a cool down if need be-just don't walk away from it. Having manual can be useful...
