I have been wanting to put a terraced flower garden in my back yard on my hillside made of rock but I'm having a hard time sourcing enough rock to do it. What I'm looking for is something like this Craigslist ad....http://kansascity.craigslist.org/grd/2378701448.html

I would need probably 2 pallets. I have a hard time justifying paying close to $400 for rocks. :loco:

So I turn to KCSR, does anyone know of any place to get a good amount of rock for a decent price?

This, check craigslist and freecycle, there are ads all the time for free rock. I'll check because I know freecycle had one in the last week.

How big are their rocks? I'm wanting to build a retaining wall in my backyard and these little pebbles the guy posted won't be big enough.

Where is this field located? I could probably use a couple truck loads but I wouldn't want to haul it too far.
