I listed my house for sale the end of April. I have a contract pending which should close on July 26th. They new owners take possession July 29th.

I'll be moving from NE Independence to Platte County. Does anyone have any experience with local moving companies?

I have used moovers. But that is moving local. The price was reasonable and they were on time and fast. But I boxed everything and was ready to go. It was worth it for me especially in the summer

This is a friend of mines company.

The guy is a stickler for good work. Would definitely recommend Moovers.

Two Men & A Truck hands down was a superb experience for me. I'd recommend them 100x over.

Thank you all for the quick responses. I'm getting estimate from both Moovers & from 2 guys & a truck.

My plan is to hire someone to move all my large items & I'll pack, box & move all the small items.

Parents used them as well. From Raytown to Independence, think it was like 5-7 hours and was like 5-600.00.
