Ive just bought one and I thought that I would be alerted to the presence of all speed traps on my way.

Presumably this is not the case?

So I have now realised that I need to download POI alerts from internet.

Do I have to buy these or can I get these for free from somewhere?

Ever considered just going the speed limit?
Costs nothing, and it's guaranteed 100% to work :-)

It's hard to find a good database for free.
You can buy one at< spam link removed> 10bucks only
