Like to have one also but man those things are pricey.

Man I was almost going to get one of these but I hear bad things about them breaking too easily?

well don't fall and it won't break!

you can mount on your stem instead of bars. think about how difficult it would be for you to ruin it there. my mount is very solid.

i have the garmin 500 and it's amazing. go read some reviews.

I've read reviews of them shutting off after a few bumps in the road. What I don't know is what these people have done with their units prior to writing up reviews so I guess I can't trust everything people say. I've got a friend at Garmin so maybe I'll check into them.

Here is one from the last MS ride using my Garmin Edge 305 with cadence/heart rate. It was my first time riding in the event. I had a lot of fun riding with my father in law.

Here is a picture of the Garmin mounted on my stem. I have yet to have it lose communication because of a bump.

Glad you like it.

I'm curious, any issues with the connect website yet?

I'm using Ascent for data. It's a lot better than what comes with the garmin. I paid around 180.00 last summer for mine, factory refurbished with a 1 year warranty, and it came with a cadence sensor and heart rate strap, on ebay.
I'm sure you can find them for even cheaper now that the garmin 500 came out.
My next one will be the 750, when I want to start messing with power meters.
