Before my AF dream ended, my goal was to fly the C-17. LOVE that plane!

No, it's powered by non-afterburning engines that are MUCH bigger in size.

B-1's are powered by four afterburning engines. Watching them take off is nuts. You really can't imagine how loud these things are until you see them in person. They can go pretty fucking fast at altitude too.

What was that lightning bolt on the tail at :46 caused by? I'm sure it is a "well duh" answer but I have never seen that before.

I always was astounded by the Rocket Assist takeoffs by the c-130's.

St. Maarten, I was there about a month ago. It was pretty awesome to see/experience.

Maybe I have a skewed sense of reality after having spent some time at Travis AFB... but that thing doesn't look that big. The c5's that are based in Travis... now that's a big fucking plane.

They're both very large planes. We've got about 10 of each plane here at Robins getting reparied/refurbished.

Still waiting to hear final work on exactly why it landed there, instead of on base. Should find out tomorrow.

Don't get me wrong, the c17 is a big plane. But after you've been around c5's... it's like a medium fry compared to a super size lol

For reference lol

I remember asking my friend stationed in Travis about the c17 and he was like "the wing span of our plane is wider than that plane is long. It can fit underneath the wing of a c5"

Heard you like C5s so we put a C5 (flight deck) in a C5.
