if you factor in his injuries... he has been a bad signing for the chiefs so far.

Alex smith not stretching the field, losing a 3rd round draft pick for the tampering, multiple injuries.

For the money he is making it hasn't worked well for KC.

Couldn't agree more. Even with he is healthy i don't see him giving 100%.

agreed.

The big problem is the rest of the Wr's aren't that good.

Albert wilson... please god let this be his last year in KC.

Conley needs to step up his play as well.

Chiefs inactives today vs Falcons:

WR - J. Maclin
QB - T. Bray
CB - P. Gaines
RB - K. Davis
LB - D. Nicolas
OL - M. Person
TE - R. Travis

3 starters out again.

Even though Gaines got burned a couple times... Nelson is back but that still leaves the CB's as Marcus Peters, Nelson, and rookies or non starters (white, acker)

Better start praying the offense can keep going because the defense isn't delivering.

Wow Smith overthrew a wide open Ware that had a damn good shot of going all the way. Hard to see that one not coming back to bite them in this game considering how easy it is for Atlanta to march down the field.

Kelce looked great. The offense is really in sync right now. I didn't think the Chiefs had a strong chance to win this one but they proved me wrong. Great game!

Welcome back Kelce!! 2nd 100+ game and CAUGHT every fricking pass!

Offense looked good, Defense stepped up, special teams pulled the right magic out, Smith was fire today, if he only hit ware on the side on that one pass....damn!! But still a solid performance.

ERIC FUCKING BERRY

Holy shit. They need to pay berry.

Question: did KC's defense not get credit for that 2 pt stop? I ask because for the whole day KC only got 11 points for me. Yahoo league.

Alex Smith finally taking chances down field and Kelce actually making some good catches.

lets not overreact. Berry is playing well the last few games and is playing for what is most likely his last contract in the nfl. He has great incentive to play well and get paid.

He has already made around $60-70 mil (before taxes etc with the Chiefs) between his initial rookie deal and the franchise tag.

He is due for a payday but not a top 1-2 safety payday, more like top 10.

I think it will be between him and Poe. With Poe being injured... and d-line looking like the backups playing as well as Poe it will be Berry.

Someone will make Berry the highest paid Safety in the league. I hope it's the Chiefs.

For once, I'll be happy sitting in my cozy house watching the game. Actually, I'll be at work which is lame.

I hope not, they are crippled with the cap right now. Between Houston, Smith, and the big salaries next year for Hali, Derrick Johnson, and Charles... something has to give.
