first off, my old lady won the US Strongman national championship for heavyweight women last weekend



and today I hit 405x4 on bench press after not doing over 315 for the past two months. FUCK YAEAAAA

Have been cutting the last two-three months trying to get rid of this belly. Got up to 203# bw and now I'm right around 178. So 25lbs down, little faster than I should have dropped but whatever. Think I'm going to keep dropping tell I hit 170 or so, then start bulking back up to 200 again.

One of my goals over the last two years was to hit 1000 lb on the three lifts. Didn't even realize it, but when I maxed out last I got 995 total. Kind of pissed I didn't add 5lb to DL or squat. But I know I was right there, so that makes me happy at least.

Strength has fallen off a cliff, so I have been trying not to even think about what I'm putting up. Just get in there and try to push myself.

Have been sleeping like crap again, so trying out a few different things/changes to try and fix that. Might end up doing a sleep study if it continues, just don't want to bust out $2-3K for it, but if that's what it takes so be it.

Slight update:

Still training, but have taken a few friends under guidance to help them grow in their BB offseason. Have taken the past 5-6 months pretty easy, no diet, workout 3-4 times a week. Holding 212 waking up, and all of my lifts have stayed solid.

Finally ordered a belt as I'm more comfortable with ~450+ deadlifts with it. Since I'm maintaining a higher bw currently, I'll take the opportunity next month when my schedule frees more to increase my training frequency to see if I can hit some PR's before the end of the year.

Proud of a dude I'm helping. 228lbs and pulled 585x10 then 635x3.

Also, dlove will be getting membership money from me soon so I can lift at his in-home gym when I visit TX next

He's strong af. Theres no helping me

His form was shit, and was over/under grip all the time. Leading to imbalances in his physique. I'm working with him to balance him back out, along with doing everything correct when he performs his lifts. Dude listens really well, which his previous coaches said otherwise. I think they just didn't take their time with him.

Its his offseason, so if there is a meet somewhere in the next 6 months I'm sure he would consider it. He could probably hit a 700lb dead, 600+ squat (working on his depth now), and 400+ bench. But we aren't training specifically for that, would be more of a "just for fun". Which I could probably convince my wife to do as well.
