He was kind of a bust. I hope this opens up for recruiting but doubt it. Terrible 2017 class coming in.

Couple of post season updates.

Graham is coming back, not that surprising since he was only occasionally touching the second round. No announcement of Svi yet. Josh hasnt announced but likely will at the banquet.

Frank Mason swept all of the awards. Well deserved.

Doesn't affect next year but the Lawson brothers transferring to KU and will have at least two years of eligibility starting in the 18 season.

You KU fans happy about that or does that hurt chances for high profile one and dones?

I'd take them over one and dones as of late.

Main concern is its two scholarships for next season but not playing, going to hurt depth.

I dont think it hurts getting one and dones because they know they will play wherever they go, or at least they all think that. We were never really one-and-done U though, only really got one a year max. Embiid just surprised everyone.

I don't get it. Severely underachieves, terrible at home, and the team choked away many games in the last minutes. Why does that deserve an extension?

Hopefully it's just a ploy to help the program recruit and the new AD will still have the balls to fire him after another bad season.

I dont get it just for the mass exodus that happened after he came on. I can see letting the current contract play out but the idea of extending a contract for an overpaid coach just doesnt make sense.

Upon graduating from the University of Kansas on Sunday with a communications degree, forward Dwight Coleby has announced he will transfer from the Kansas men's basketball team, KU head coach Bill Self and Coleby announced on Monday. Having earned his degree, Coleby will be a graduate transfer and eligible to compete during the 2017-18 season.

http://thespun.com/nba/los-angeles-l...kers-nba-draft

This would be HILARIOUS if the Lakers, the team that Gonzo Balls dad hand picked for his son, ended up turning him down for Jackson. Id nut for two reasons, a higher pick for Jackson is good all around and it would be a slap in the face to Lavar Ball. Plus who knows the impact if the Lakers dont take him since he refused to work out for anyone else and not combine. If the only team he worked out for, a team he has said he wanted to play for since the beginning, decided to pass, wouldnt you be a little gunshy about spending your 3rd, 4th, whatever pick on him? He wont leave the lottery but I could see him dropping a few slots.

I would assume the Lakers would be hard pressed to take Jackson over Ball, Fultz, or Fox.

I think they are leaning more towards Fox from Kentucky as he is a damn good player and schooled Lonzo during the NCAA tournament and doesn't have the Ball family baggage.

Not sure why they would be hard pressed. He is far and away the most athletic and the best defender (which is usually what you get out of a guy first to begin with). His primary weakness is outside shooting but he got that up to 38% by the end of his freshman year, meaning its something he can improve. And Balls outside shot is even uglier.

Fultz is #1, that is pretty much without question.

He is good no doubt, but he isn't a better player then any of the 3 mentioned ahead of him.

Plus he has criminal record baggage that Fultz and Fox don't have... regardless of it its college b.s. stuff or not.

With Walton as the coach he is most likely try and emulate Golden State's approach to building and winning. High Character/athletic/outside shooters (excluding Green with the nut kicking).

LOL, you think the NBA gives a shit about one kick of a car door? That's adorable. Hell two of the warriors have a history of violence against people, one a woman.

Lonzo and Josh are pretty similar. But Fox better? Jackson has similar points, doubles the rebounding. Better FG and 3-pt %. When KU went to UK, Jackson had a double-double. Fox had 10 points and 5 turnovers.

Breaking: Sources say Celtics and 76ers have agreed in principle trade picks in the NBA draft. Philly plans to take Markelle Fultz at No. 1.

Pretty happy Wes got drafted. Especially in front of Mason.

You really care? He was always going to go ahead of Mason, the NBA is as much a livestock auction as anything else and the bigger position players are more desirable.
