Seems like theres a good wave of shows coming.

Parkway Drive, Set Your Goals, The Ghost Inside, The Warriors - Feb 18 Beaumont

Whitechapel, Acacia Strain, Veil of Maya, Chelsea Grin, - March 1 Granada

Dropkick Murphys, Against Me - March 2 Beaumont

Norma Jean, Stick to your guns, Impending Doom, Of Legends - March 12 Bottleneck

Deftones, Dillinger Escape Plan - April 25 Voodoo Lounge

I will definitely be at the Deftones and Norma Jean shows. I'll try to go to the Whitechapel/Acacia Strain show. Anyone else plan on going to any?

Definitely want to make it to the Deftones/Dillinger Escape Plan show. My wife got us tickets to Motorhead/Clutch. Should be awesome. I kinda want to go see Death Angel at the Riot Room Feburary 11th for fun.

Against Me is a decent live band. Their new stuff is dumb, but their old stuff is pretty good. And they have lots of energy on stage.

Dropkick Murphys is going to be exactly what you expect; lots of drunks, loud irish music, and awesomeness.

I will be at this show for sure. Also thinking about going to see deftones.

Not many bands I'm interested in seeing are touring this year (from those that have posted dates). It seems like it'll be a slow year for shows

Don't fucking bullshit me, if Bad Rellgion is coming to KC for a real concert (not warped tour) then I will fucking buy tickets NOW.

As for Dropkick, they put on a great show honestly, I've seen them 4 or 5 times. But eh....I've kind of gotten old of their music. I still LOVE their first two albums (especially when Mike was on vocals), but really after that when you listen they started moving away from the "punk" and their Irishness is more gimmicky. If you really want good Irish Punk check out Tossers and Flogging Molly. Flogging Molly > Dropkick.

Sevendust is one of my favorite live bands. They kill it everytime. Avenged should be good too.

Oh and the Norma Jean show last night was amazing. They were just unbelievable at the bottleneck.
