Default HVAC Guys - Auto Selecting Thermostat?

Do you know if anyone makes a thermostat where you set your desired temperature and then the thermostat decides if it should use the heat or the AC to Heat/Cool appropriately?

The reason I ask is that here in TX the weather changes so frequently that I could go from having the heat on one night to needing the AC the next afternoon. I hate having to fuck with the thermostat back and forth between heat and cool.

Anyway, just looking for products that you might know of.

if you were still in kansas this is free. ($300)
this thing can be controlled from anywhere in the world and you can set the parameters so that if it gets above 80 it turns the air on or drops below "x" degrees it turns the heat on.

I just got mine installed last tuesday for FREE. Its pretty badass

You won't think it's badass when it's 100 degrees in July and Westar turns your AC off to reduce the load on the system.

If you wanna be legit you can "opt out" during a few of those times.

You can also bypass the thermostat where it hooks up to the A/C unit.
Just make a jumper wire.
