you don't think Tyrod Taylor or Kirk Cousins wouldn't be better as free agents?

Or deshaun watson? he isn't going top 3.

#Chiefs LB DJ Alexander is officially headed to the Pro Bowl, a source tells me. Replacing Pats' Matt Slater, who plays in Super Bowl LI.

Hearing Colts are definitely intrigued by Chiefs personnel man Chris Ballard and his preference would be Chief ST coach Dave Toub as his HC

Apparently they are giving Pagano a year to prove himself.

Yep, assuming he doesn't win anything important (superbowl/playoffs, etc) he is gone and Toub probably becomes head coach.

I can see that. I do wonder if a high profile HC next year could overtake Toub though. Time will tell i guess.

Kansas City Chiefs compensatory picks will make this a fun draft

The Kansas City Chiefs compensatory picks are going to make this a fun draft. The Chiefs could have up to four more compensatory picks when April hits. As Matt Conner noted a few weeks ago, Over The Cap projects the Chiefs will get an extra third, fifth and two sixth round picks for their free agent losses last year.
With their own picks as well, the Chiefs will have a lot of flexibility to move up and down in this draft. Iím not saying they will but they have the ammo for it.
I thought of this because I was reading this piece from The Big Lead that talked about Deshaun Watson being a good fit in KC except that thereís no way he falls all the way to the 27th pick.
He probably wonít fall that far. However, if the Chiefs wanted to give up second and third round picks to move up a little, they could. Moving into the top 10? Probably not. But the Chiefs will have the flexibility to go up a little bit.

Put me down for the trade back into the second for another Chris Jones and extra picks. Iím calling it now.

Chiefs add Mike Kafka to coaching staff

That will stand as his last mention as an NFL player as Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Chiefs have hired Kafka as an offensive quality control coach.

Mike Kafka is joining the #Chiefs' offensive staff as a quality control coach, a source confirms. @caplannfl had it first.
