Default New Pick-em-up Truck

As much as I kept saying with the wagon and trailer I didn't need a truck, I wanted one and had to borrow the truck from work fairly often to accomplish some things. So, I'd been keeping my eye out but not too serious, and came across this guy that was too good to pass up.

'07 Sierra Classic Crew Cab, 100k miles, L59 flex fuel 5.3 (just an LM7 with larger injectors), and immaculate.

It needs tires and an alignment, debating if I want to do a 2/4 and all that at the same time, but for now I'm just gonna drive it and deal with the cupped/annoying tires until I make up my mind.

Not sure if I'll sell the 'vo or not at this point, doesn't cost much to keep around but also no need for it to just sit. We'll see.

It's got dem flowz on it tho.

Actually is really pretty quiet with good tone, was surprised. Whoever did it did a good job welding and did true duals, when I looked under and saw Flowmasters I cringed but I was really surprised when I started it.

Oh sweet, a gussied up Shoverleavit.

I keep toying with the idea of getting rid of the Legacy and getting a pickup truck, but I have one in the garage...that needs a lot of work to finish.

I think I'm going to keep the Volvo, at least for now. Goal was to get rid of it, but keeping it will cost me $22 a month and it's one of those stupid clean/couldn't replace cars. Only place I've posted it is Swedespeed in case an enthusiast wants it. Goofy to be attached to a 19 year old Volvo wagon, but I oddly am.

I'll try and snap some more pics of the truck tomorrow, especially the interior. Surprised me how clean it is. Definitely not mad that I bought it, and now I finally somewhat fit in in Texas.

Nice, I was looking at those GMC's too. I found an 06 that was pretty much a Denali but the 5.3 I almost jumped on but it was in Cali. My wagon was just not enough for all the shit I do around the house so I picked up a 2011 F150 with the 5.0. 195k on it but looks like it has 50k.

I have a trailer I used behind the Volvo that was nice, but it's hard to beat a truck. Especially with the space the crew cab has.

I'd been keeping my eye on them but wasn't really looking to buy one, but once I saw this one pop up I ran up to the lot at lunch and drove it then made the deal.
