Default Competing?

Just wondering if anyone on here is competing on Sep. 29 for Kansas State Champions and Land of the Oz in Overland Park?

Still up in the air though. I just found out about it a few weeks ago. And always wanted to do it, so if I lean out far enough Ill enter and if not, the next one around will do. I been at it since 06. Just never competed, ran through my mind quite a few times for Male Physique category. Started out at 138, currently sitting at about 169, already dropped quite a few pounds just from eating clean. Its harder than I thought trying to prep meals and what not. This is where I'm at right now. Taken about a week and a half ago. Still trying to cut up. Oh yeah I'm also 5'7.

Never measured my body size yet. Probably need to do that just for kicks. Any tips on kicking up my cutting process? Currently taking ON Whey, NOW Fish Oil, Now Multi and Fast Fuel as my PWO. And I just started incorporating Vitamin C and D3. Been @ about 2500 Calories daily which seems good for me so far, Carbs between 150-100g. Same for Fat. Im still learning about clean eat and nutrient intake, so its a slow process for me.

If you're just wanting to compete for the hell of it then go for it. But by going off your current pics, you won't even be close to cut enough in 4 weeks time to do very well at the show

Interesting when cross referencing your #'s on chest day to the physique you posted. Pretty damn strong if you have a decent ROM.

You're doing better than the last guy on here who entered a comp just for the experience.

Looks better than the 1st. Any idea what you're doing carb wise leading into the show?

Thanks bro. Trying my best, I just learn about fasted cardio. Still a noob when it comes to diet and training techniques to lead up to a show.

Carb right now, Im intaking less than 100g a day, I have a high carb day on the 4 or 5 day. I might cut that out though, doesnt work to well with my body. But it usually comes from brown rice, whole wheat bread, sweet potatoes and a few from my shakes. But carb wise leading up into a show still a whole new process, I read up on alot of water depletion techniques but I saw 50/50 saying its good/bad. Any input on that and tips on carbing leading up to a show? I have a posing session tonight, first time. Hope it goes well. Heard its almost exhausting as exercising.

Ye I was decent. Got back in Jan from overseas, so all there was too do was lift, eat, sleep, and more lifting. My chest is still lacking the upper inner section. I starting doing a single arm db press on about a 70 deg incline. And it seems to be hitting it pretty good.

Trying to cut in 4 weeks?

E/C stack, prob the biggest help naturally.

And lots of time on the stepmill.

and no idea about carb loading pre-show. There are a lot of water/sodium manipulation techniques that I'm unaware of.

Yea, more like 5 and a half weeks. Still pushing it though. I barely did cardio before hand because I was trying to get as big as I could, but just started doing twice a day, fasted cardio and a short evening session. Bout to hit up the stepmill in a few hours. Still unsure about the competition, depends if I get lean enough to where I'll do alright, not horrible. If not I'll just go watch and compete in the next one.

All the carb loading stuff and water depletion techniques is still new to me also. Been reading on it, trying to soak as much in. I'll check the E/C stack out.

Unless you want to dabble with clen/t3/etc, your best bet to cut would be the E/C.

Trust me, I didn't really cut back on my diet, did e/c and cardio 5 days a week. Was shredded as fuarkkkkkk
