Default 09 cobalt misfire

I have a 09 cobalt lt with the 2.2 ecotec motor. It keeps throwing a p0300 code. Using a modis watched the misfire counter start at idle then once above 2000 rpm it dies off and no misfire. Its always on cylinder #1. Changed the plug, coil and injector to cyl#2. Still missing on #1. Scoped the crank position sensor, scoped ok. Scoped the coil prior to changing around and it looked of. I can disable the injectors individually and does not change the misfire. My next options to go after is compression test, cyl leak down, and hunting all grounds down. Anyone have any suggestions?

If the missfire counter stops as you apply load to the engine, then it is most likely not related to the secondary side of the ignition system.

I'd suspect a faulty injector.

Do a compression test, and go from there.

Cylinder #1 had 100psi, all the others had 160 or around that. Did some research and found its a common issue that the valves will stick open amongst alot of other issues. Still under 50,000 miles.
