Yeah. I really like it.

The only shitty part of it is that is screws into the bottom mount on the camera so if you want to throw it on a tripod you have to take it off and put a quick release on.

Or... you could actually just clip it to the bottom of the quick release if you really wanted to but I like their clip on that screws in better for that sort of thing.

Canon 50D
Canon 17-40 f/4L
Canon 50 f/1.4
Canon 70-200 f/4L (non-IS)
Canon Speedlight 430EX II

And...that's it.

Ya, I've been thinking about getting one for awhile. I don't think the tripod part would bother me too much. I would throw up a shot of my gear, but I only have one body now.

Got these yesterday. I was originally planning on going with RadioPoppers but after reading so much negative about them, I decided to go with the Cybersyncs*.

* denotes Shiner Bock not included

More to come soon

Not to much from me. Hoping to change that next month as some extra funds roll in. But for the time being....

This, but add some light modifiers, tripod, light stand, camera bag, and a reflector and you have my gear list....

I am still up in the air about mine. I might sell it. They are very convenient to have but shooting in portrait orientation is very annoying. If you shoot mainly in landscape orientation than go for it, heck I'll sell you mine, but if you do a lot in portrait you may be sending it back. You are more than welcome to try out mine before you buy one if you want.

Just my $.02.

I would probably stick to the Cactus V5s if it werent for the poor customer service and Chinese production. I purchased them when I was laid off work for a while and didnt have a lot of money to blow on camera gear. Now that I am back to work I can spend money on the higher-end stuff. When I ordered the Cybersyncs, they called me to make sure that it wasnt a fraud since I was shipping to a different address than my billing address, Ive never had anyone do that and thought that was a nice gesture. Also part of my order was left out when they shipped it, I emailed them and they responded right away and even offered to over-night the rest to me. They are also made in Nashville TN, so its keeping money in our own country.

That makes sense. Paul Buff customer service is top notch from what I've experienced. I guess it's only right what they offered considering they did mess up the order in the 1st place. haha.

Sounds good Nathan. Let me know when you get back if you still want to get rid of it and I may take it off your hands. Maybe we can make a deal on my appollo for that plus some cash. Either way, enjoy your trip.
