Email Address/Phone Number (optional): alec.meyer@live.com Zip Code:68507 Pics: below Name:Alec Item Description:below Year: 1997 Make:Nissan Model:Nissan GLE Mileage:140,xxx original miles Title Status:clean Color Exterior/Interior:Gold/gray cloth The Good: -runs great -sony XPLOD faceplate, stock bose speakers -clean interior -dash has no cracks very clean -transmission shifts smooth -very roomy -power everything-driver seat, windows, mirrors, locks -cruise control -cold A/C -newer tires all around(80%) -well taken care of -2 owner car kept in the same family(uncle bought from car rental place, then my brother, then me) -clean title, ready to go -oil changed every 3k miles(just changed along with getting aligned, tires balanced, and rotated) -everything is stock except for radio -have many receipts of prior maintenance The Bad: -paint has cracked in a small spot on the back bumper(not noticeable) -3 quarter sized dents from hail -clear coat is peeling on hood in a fist sized spot -scuff on front bumper -needs radio antenna (came off in a car wash) -unfortunately spotted small amounts of rust that hopefully will be fixed soon, if I have time to get to it http://s1284.beta.photobucket.com/us...r49er/library/ I would like to trade for a civic coupe or integra or something along those lines. i might have it somewhere or i know where it could possibly be. This is basically a 2 owner car my uncle had it until about 115,000 miles and then my brother bought it from him for 3,500 and my brother just recently bought a 1997 prelude so he sold the car to my mom who gave it to me for my first car. but it does have the original bose speakers just my brother put in a pioneer stereo in it.

a turbo would be pretty bad ass but i checked my car insurance rate and for a turbo its like 10 to 15 bucks more a month and i don't have that kind of money sadly (because I'm a teenager). I'll take more pictures once I fix the problems with the paint and the dents, and after i wash and vacuum it out.

man i guess your right, if i would have realized it before i might have done that but the car is for sale/trade now so i can get car that gets a little better gas mileage like 25 to 30, because I have to pay for my own insurance and gas which I have to take the money out of my american fender stratocaster fund since I do not have a job right at the moment.

this maxima was not available in a 5 speed sadly... that is the main problem with selling it... automatics are like a cock block for this website and most teenage guys in general. I don't know if you could do a swap to a manual somehow but i think it would be cool if someone would try to do that.

dude you really need to do some research on maxima's bro. they did come 5 speed factory. they where ment to be a 4 door sports car. still to this day they are. my friends turbo maxima is a 5 speed. up intel the newer models the maxima came 5 speed. read up bro! the maxima can make some serious power and make an awsome sleeper!!!

well what the hell i put the checked the prices on kbb and automatic was the only thing you could click on, and your right i didn't do too much research and i would love to keep it and maybe swap it for a 5 speed but it doesn't get the mileage that i'd like. I'd rather save up to put into a college fund.
