Rice-a-Roni... the SRT4 Treat! - KCSR

I kind of feel sorry for this kid because i think he hurt his car during all this but that's what he gets for being a dumbass ricer. I use the word ricer referring only to the driver, not the car...

I was sitting at a 4 way intersection, minding my own business, when this red RX8 with an exhaust comes through the intersection revving all the way through at me. Ummm... rice! Now normally i like "ricer" cars.. hell my car is consider ricer by many but here i'm referring to the driver as rice because well he is rice! Anyway revving loudly at me while giving me that your car sucks look... i smile back with a polite "come get ya some" wave and about that time the light turns green and i turn to follow the ricer. I get up next to him and the poor kid is still REVVING! So since he decided to go all rice i decide to be an ass and i let my full exhaust with no mufflers sound back and of course the HKS SS chimes in too. Lol... all of sudden he stopped revving and said he doesn't have a turbo... ahh too bad ;-(. I ask what all he has done he says just exhaust and that he runs 13.4s (yet couldn't remember his trap speed, lol 13.4s that's funny!). So only a minute or so has gone by and i'm still remember him going through the intersection thinking he's hot shit... so i down shift to 2nd as does he, i give him the hit and proceed to kick the rice out of him. Wasn't much of a race... i instantly took the lead and put a couple cars on him all before 70mph. We repeated a couple more 2nd gear pulls with the same results. We were approaching an area where we could really open the cars up so I get beside him but he won't look at me (he's pretending to be busy). Damn ricers! Well i'm still in asshole mode so I down shift and punch it a lil to see if he'll chase... nope. Ok so figuring the fun is over i fall back behind him and get ready to turn around. As we are approaching an underpass of a bridge the Ricer revs, down shifts, and punches it while under the bridge then i hear a BOOM! and a couple of fireballs shot out his tail pipe followed by white smoke! Lol, i literally started laughing. He hits the breaks with smoke still coming out his tailpipe and slows wayyy down to a crawl. I expected him to pull over and if he did i was going to help with what i could to get him running again (or give him a ride home, lol.) After about a 1/4 mile no more smoke and then the Ricer punches it again and again backfires (while i'm passing him). He then quickly turns into a neighborhood. I figure he's going home and called it a day. I go up about half mile and turn around and on my way back guess who i see getting on the highway with white smoke coming from their tailpipe again... yep the ricer.... I hope the guy didn't hurt his engine but with all that revving and bouncing off the rev limiter... i think he cooked me a treat... Rice-a-roni... the SRT4 treat!

It was a young kid... maybe high school or just graduated. Darker brown hair in a red factory looking RX8 with an exhaust. Didn't seem to know shit about cars and quoted unrealistic times from KCIR.... Classic "I watched Fast and Furious too many times" type of ricer.

Umm... don't know but i have funny feeling that this RX8 was heading towards Maple Woods to enroll. I could be wrong but i bet the kid i ran into goes to school there.

eh most rotarys with full exhaust, especially if they don't have cats throw fire balls. I guess it's a kill, can't call it good since my stock heavy ass car could beat an RX8 in a straight race also.

but comments like these are just the gay.

Lol... I was wondering when the trolls would start with the mud slinging.... Ah i love KCSR, always good for entertainment and i'm glad i can occasionally contribute to the fun. Let the mud sling commence! Let's see how many pages we can fill with this thread.... it has rice AND an SRT4!

Of course it's nothing to brag about, an RX8 is hardly a challenge (even for my slow ass car), but what WAS funny was the RICER revving the everloving shit out of his car and it starts smoking and backfiring after bouncing off the rev limiter countless times. And if it's "gay" to answer a challenge with a "come on" wave then a WHOLE bunch of ppl are "gay" as you put it... I know it's beneath a mazdaSpeed6 owner but as for revving back to shut him up.... try it if ur car is loud enough! It's funny to see their faces esp if they think it's a Neon with a kit (or Mazda6 in your case). My car is loud so yes it was funny to rev back ONCE to shut him up (which he did stop revving). Just ask the Mustang crowd... some (maybe most but not all in my area) LOVE to rev at anything and everything that is modified and drives by and no i do not rev back (i've already raced most of em). Maybe if i drove something other then an SRT4 it would be appropriate and accepted. I know most on here have done the same... someones revs a challenge and you answer back with a rev to accept... so you're going to have try harder and find something else to poke at.

Troll? Note I didn't say what you did was rice, I said your comments were pure Richard simmons gay. We have all reved to shut somebody up, I did it in Belton when a Jeep Grand Cherokee went passed me and laughed because I was stuck behind a slow car. I was able to get over and give it some gas. After her heard my car he stopped laughing.

That was a quick back pedal and as for full exhaust comment it's because i don't post on here much and i doubt many know my mods... how is it gay to list a couple of mods in a story? Should have listed them before, would that have made it any less "gay"? You have your opinion... but really? If you knew my car one of the first things ppl say about my car is that it's loud, i was trying to project that to the reader...
