Default HVAC Help!

I have a slow leak in my a/c system. Every spring I have to have it recharged and it usually lasts all summer. My neighbor usually does it for me no problems but was recently laid off. So, can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance, you can pm me if you want, I appreciate it.
